Finally, we can also provide customers with professional advice on the use of metal colloids.

Metal Colloids

Introduction

Metal colloids refer to small metal particles with diameters in the range of 1-100 nm. They possess properties that bulk metals do not possess, such as surface effects, volume effects, quantum size effect, macroscopic quantum tunneling effect, etc. This state of matter between molecules and solids can play an important role in many fields. Our products include precious and non-precious metal colloids.

Alfa Chemistry is able to guide the rational design of metal colloids according to a few guiding principles and use optimized preparation processes to produce products that meet customer needs. Compared with physical preparation methods, we use more chemical processes such as electrolysis to produce metal colloids.

All of Alfa Chemistry's colloidal products undergo rigorous quality testing before delivery. We will provide customers with detailed performance test reports and product application manuals to help you make better use of our products. In addition, all products sold by Alfa Chemistry support comprehensive after-sales service.

Research and Development

Metal colloids are widely used in agriculture, aerospace, electronics, chemical industry, metallurgy, military, nuclear industry, medicine and biological engineering. For example, colloids dominated by noble metals such as Pt, Rh, Ag, and Pd have been successfully used in hydrogenation catalysis. Metal colloids can also be fabricated into multilayer ultrathin films with high electrical conductivity by layer-by-layer self-assembly processes.
