The extensive application of heavy metals has brought serious pollution to the environment. In order to reduce environmental pollution and meet the needs of human health, the rapid detection technology of heavy metals has become a research hotspot. The colloidal gold immunochromatography technology owned by Alfa Chemistry can detect a variety of heavy metal ions. Our detection method is not only fast and low-cost, but also has the advantages of convenient use and wide application range.

Heavy Metal Ion Detection

Our Abilities

Our colloidal gold immunochromatography technology is an immunoassay method that can not only achieve rapid qualitative detection of heavy metal ions, but also provide quantitative detection services.

Our heavy metal ion detection range includes but is not limited to: Cr3+, Cd2+, Cu2+, Hg2+, Pb2+, Zn2+, Ni2+, etc.

Our Services

We mainly use heavy metal rapid detection test strips for detection. The detection principle is shown in the following figure: First, the gold-labeled antibody is combined in the microwell as a color developing medium. When the sample solution to be tested is added to the microwell, the heavy metal ions in the sample specifically bind to the gold-labeled antibody, and move forward to the detection line (T line) through capillary action for color development. The remaining gold-labeled antibody and the gold-labeled antibody bound to heavy metal ions cross the T line and bind to the secondary antibody at the quality control line (C line) to develop color. Regardless of whether the sample contains heavy metal lead, the control line will develop color to show that the test product results are valid.

Our testing services include but are not limited to:

  • Sample Pretreatment
  • Detection Process
  • Establishment of Quantitative Standard Curve of Colloidal Gold Test Strips
  • Determination of Detection Limit of Test Strip Method
  • Determination of Recovery Rate of Colloidal Gold Test Strips
  • Colloidal Gold Test Strip Repeatability Test
  • Detection of Specificity of Colloidal Gold Test Strips

In addition to the above testing services, we can also provide customized development services for colloidal gold rapid detection test strips for heavy metals.

Our Advantages

  • The detection range of Alfa Chemistry is wide, covering most heavy metal ions.
  • Alfa Chemistry has established standardized testing procedures to ensure reliable test results.
  • Alfa Chemistry has a short test cycle and can deliver test results in a very short time.
