Viruses can pose a significant threat to animal, plant and human health, so rapid and sensitive virus detection is critical before effective treatment. Currently, detection methods based on gold nanoparticles are considered to have great potential. Alfa Chemistry can provide animal and plant quarantine services based on immunocolloidal gold technology, including the detection of important animal viral diseases, bacterial diseases and common zoonotic diseases.

Animal and Plant Quarantine

Introduction

Rapid and accurate virus detection is of great significance for assessing the infection status and controlling the spread of the virus. Therefore, for such applications, highly sensitive and reliable diagnostic tools are required. Traditional virus isolation and serological testing are laborious, time-consuming, and have low sensitivity. PCR-based diagnostic techniques, on the other hand, require expensive instruments and relatively complex laboratories. In contrast, the colloidal gold test strip method, which provides fast and reliable results with little equipment dependence, is a promising method.
