Colloidal materials play a very important role in the remediation of systems contaminated with hazardous substances. Alfa Chemistry has conducted a comprehensive research on the application of colloidal materials in pollution separation and remediation. We can use colloidal materials to complete the separation and remediation of pollutants such as suspended particulates, dyes and chemical reagents in soil and liquid matrices, as well as particulate pollutants in the air.

Pollution Remediation

Our Pollution Remediation Capabilities

Alfa Chemistry mainly uses colloidal gas aphrons (CGAs) to achieve a variety of pollution remediation. CGAs consist of spherical microbubble systems mostly exceeding 25 µm in diameter. The bubbles are encapsulated in a multi-layered shell composed of surfactant and liquid. CGAs have some colloidal properties and behave as shear-thinning fluids that are suitable as separation and mass transfer agents.

Our repair capabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Remove contaminants from soil
Including the removal of organic pesticides, oily wastes, naphthalene, hexachlorobenzene and n-pentadecane and other non-aqueous liquids
  • Separation of contaminants from fluids
Including recovery of fibers and oils from wastewater, removal of fine particle suspensions, separation of dyes and recovery of bioactive components
  • Remove particulate matter from the air
Including the removal of dust containing PVC powder in the air
  • Wastewater purification
Including clarification of inorganic mineral suspensions, recovery of yeast

Remediation Process

Our remediation process mainly includes: 1. Determine the structure and concentration of pollutants and the properties of the substrate; 2. Find the type and concentration of suitable surfactants; 3. Determine the washing method; 4. Conduct remediation experiments and calculate removal efficiency.

Our Service Advantages

  • Alfa Chemistry's colloidal gas aphrons technology provides a new way for pollution remediation. It only needs to use a small amount of surfactant to achieve a good remediation effect. It is an environmentally friendly pollution remediation method.
  • Alfa Chemistry has a wide range of pollution remediation. Our technical team has carried out a lot of exploration and developed a series of rich application areas to meet the needs of customers to the greatest extent.
  • Alfa Chemistry is actively expanding the application of CGAs to pilot scale and industrial application.
