Overview |
Description |
Fumed silica is a fine and special amorphous silica product obtained by high-temperature hydrolysis of halosilane through oxyhydrogen flame. The primary particle size of the product is between 7-40nm, and the specific surface area is generally 100m2/g. Within the range of ~400m2/g, the product has high purity and SiO2 content of not less than 99.8%. It is an extremely important inorganic nano-powder material. Due to its superior stability, reinforcement, thickening and thixotropy, it has been widely used in rubber, plastics, electronics, coatings, medicine, agriculture and CMP. |
