Overview
Description

Ethyl cellulose is the ethyl ether of cellulose, a long-chain polymer with β-anhydroglucose as a unit linked by acetal, and is one of the most widely used water-insoluble cellulose derivatives. Ethyl cellulose has the functions of bonding, filling, film-forming, etc. It is used for resin synthesis of plastics, coatings, rubber substitutes, inks, insulating materials, as well as adhesives, textile finishing agents, etc., and can also be used in agriculture and animal husbandry. Used as animal feed additives, used as adhesives in electronic products and military propellants.

Features
