Description

The organic layer of CdS/ZnS or CdSe/ZnS quantum dots (QDs) with carboxylic acid as the reactive group consists of an oleic acid/octadecylamine monolayer and an amphiphilic polymer monolayer. The total thickness of the organic layers on these quantum dots is about 4 nm. They have found many applications in bioimaging and biosensing.
